1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. Our Services

The Padel Escape provides done-for-you padel retreat planning and coordination services across South Africa. This includes but is not limited to court bookings, accommodation arrangements, transport coordination, catering, and activity planning. We act as an agent and coordinator; the ultimate delivery of third-party services (e.g. accommodation, courts) remains the responsibility of those respective providers.

3. Bookings and Confirmation

All retreat bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once:

• A written confirmation has been issued by The Padel Escape
• The required deposit or full payment has been received

We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion.

4. Payments and Pricing

Pricing for retreats is provided on a per-enquiry basis and is tailored to your specific requirements. All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. A deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due as agreed in your booking confirmation.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies are specified in your individual booking agreement. As a general guide:

• 60+ days before retreat: Full refund minus a 10% administration fee
• 30–59 days before retreat: 50% refund
• Under 30 days before retreat: No refund (unless The Padel Escape cancels)

We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances. If The Padel Escape cancels a retreat due to circumstances within our control, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

6. Participant Responsibilities

All participants confirm that they:

• Are in adequate physical health to participate in padel and related activities
• Will follow all venue rules and safety guidelines
• Accept personal responsibility for any injury or loss of personal belongings
• Will behave in a respectful manner toward fellow participants, staff, and service providers

7. Liability Limitation

The Padel Escape acts as an organiser and coordinator. We are not liable for:

• Personal injury or illness during the retreat
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Service failures by third-party providers (venues, accommodation, transport)
• Cancellations or changes caused by force majeure events (extreme weather, civil unrest, etc.)

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific retreat.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of The Padel Escape or used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

9. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
